What data we process

We only process data you send us yourself: your name, e-mail address, title and specialty, and the content of your message. For members we also process the data needed to keep membership and fee records.

Purposes and legal basis

• replying to your enquiry: your consent and the Association’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR)
• managing membership: the membership relationship (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• accounting obligations: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR)

How long we keep data

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to reply and follow up. Membership data is kept for the duration of membership, and accounting records for the periods required by law.

Recipients

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. It may be processed only by service providers who support our work (such as our e-mail provider, bank and accountant), under contract and in line with the GDPR.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses no cookies, tracking tools or third-party analytics. Fonts and other resources are served from the same server, so your browser does not contact external services. Our hosting provider may keep technical access logs, such as IP addresses, for security purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to congess@huem.eu.

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
